ISIS is moving into its second decade of training and over one hundred students have graduated from our programme. When we originally initiated practicum sites, one of our first jobs was to educate potential supervisors, agencies, schools and hospitals about the therapeutic value of the arts. As ISIS graduates have gone on to work as Expressive Arts Therapists in schools and agencies, in private practice, teaching and in offering supervision, they have maintained and strengthened the ISIS vision of creativity-in community.

The work we do is exciting, often risky and requires graduates to be self-directed and enterprising. Our network continues to expand as Expressive Arts Therapists create opportunities for ourselves in our chosen communities. We then are in positions to supervise and guide new students who are beginning the ISIS training programme.
